- Is it a real phone call?
- Yes. Dito dials the business from a real number (a UK one, or a US one for the US and Canada) and talks to whoever answers, on an ordinary phone line. You can follow the transcript while it happens.
- Will they know it's an AI?
- If anyone asks, Dito says it's an AI assistant calling on your behalf. It never pretends to be you.
- What if nobody answers?
- You're not charged, and the same goes for voicemail or an automated menu. Try again, or schedule the call for when they're open.
- What does it cost?
- 3 calls a month are free with a verified UK mobile number, no card needed. After that it's £0.99 a call, only when someone picks up. Packs bring it down to 83p, and credits don't expire.
- What can't it do?
- It won't take payments or share card details. If a business needs paying, Dito finds out how and passes it on to you. It calls the UK, US, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ireland and Belgium, but not US mobiles or premium-rate numbers.
